About KV

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Kunjaban, Agartala, is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi, an autonomous body under Ministry of Education, Government of India. This is the first Kendriya Vidyalaya started in Tripura in 1967. It is a civil sector school catering to the educational needs of the students of Tripura. Initially started for the wards of transferable Central Government Employees, now it has the honour to be one of the biggest schools in Tripura.

This is a Four-section school with a double-storey building and two extension block for the Primary Classes. The classrooms are well ventilated and with proper civic facilities. The furniture in the Classrooms suit the age group of the students.

The school runs under the control of KVS Regional Office, Silchar. For smooth running of the School, Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) at local level provides necessary guidance as per the KVS rules
